Co-founders of the Seattle Baroque Orchestra and the award-winning chamber ensemble La Luna, Ingrid Matthews (Bodky Laureate 1989) and Byron Schenkman (Bodky Laureate 1999) have performed all over the world and on numerous highly-acclaimed recordings of 17th and 18th century music. Their playing, both separately and together, has been lauded as “exuberant,” “phenomenal,” and “astonishing.”

THE PROGRAM: The all-Bach program will include three sonatas for violin and obbligato harpsichord: BWV 1014 in B Minor, BWV 1016 in E Major, BWV 1017 in C Minor; the sonata for violin and continuo BWV1021 in G Major; and, for harpsichord solo, the suite in G Major BWV 816, "French Suite No. 5."
