From I-95/Rte 128, take Exit 31B – Rte. 4 North/Rte. 225 West – toward Bedford.

Follow Rte 225 West approx. 7 miles to the center of Carlisle.

The First Religious Society is the large white church on the town green, just off the rotary. Park on streets adjacent to the church.

From I-90/Mass Pike, take Exit 15 – I-95/Rte 128/Rte 30 – North toward Waltham/Weston.

Take exit on left for Rte 30 West. Follow Rte 30 for four tenths of a mile through several traffic lights; at the light for Newton Street (there is a sign there for the church), turn right and drive 1.2 miles. The church will be on the right, with a large adjacent parking area.

From Interstate 95 North / MA-128 Northbound, take MA-128 North toward Gloucester. Take the Exit #26 (Lowell Street toward Salem and Peabody), and turn right at bottom of ramp. Follow Lowell Street through downtown Peabody into Salem, where it becomes Boston Street. Once in Salem, Boston Street will terminate at Essex Street. Turn left onto Essex Street. The Athenaeum is 337 Essex Street, about 1/4 mile down on your right. Free on-street parking may be available on Essex Street. Metered municipal lots are located further along on Essex Street. Travel straight through the traffic light at North Street, and the lots are on either side of the next intersection.

From I-95 take Exit 50 – Rte. 1/Newburyport Turnpike – toward Topsfield.

Follow Rte. 1 North approx. 4 miles.

Turn right onto Ipswich Road; follow approx. 5.5 miles. (Ipswich Rd. becomes Topsfield Road and then Market Street).

Bear right at intersection onto South Main Street (Rte. 133); follow 0.2 miles.

The Heard House is the large white colonial house up the hill and on the left. Parking is allowed on the property; enter from County St.

Christ Church Cambridge is located on Garden Street in Harvard Square, facing the Common and next to the cemetery. It is a gray and white clapboard church, situated between First Church Unitarian (at Church Street and Harvard Square) and First Church Congregational (at Mason Street and Garden Street).
